Sorigué installs a pioneering plant for Enagás to recover residual cold from LNG regasification
Enagás (through its subsidiary E4Efficiency) and Ecoenergies Barcelona have developed an innovative solution to utilize residual cold obtained from the regasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The new plant, inaugurated alongside the Barcelona City Council, was installed by Sorigué at Enagás’ regasification facility in the Port of Barcelona.

The infrastructure, which consists of two large hangars and covers a developed area of 35,000m2, was built to improve the distribution of the salts extracted from ICL's salt and potash mines in the Port of Barcelona.
