We will turn the Port of Barcelona into “the SMARTest and most sustainable logistics hub in the Med” a Sustainable, Multimodal, Agile, Resilient and Transparent port. A Smart Port of international reference.
Projects
RegenPorts
RegenPorts is a innovation program created by the Port Authority of Barcelona through the BCN Port Innovation Foundation, designed to lead environmental regeneration projects and respond to the growing regulatory and social demands in terms of sustainability.
Circulars
The program consists of collecting and transforming plastic waste from the Port of Barcelona to promote the circular economy. The waste will be collected, cleaned and pelletised to create by-products that can be reintroduced, as a priority, into the consumption cycle of the Port.
Smart Terminal
Project that allows tracking, status monitoring and traceability of all cargo and objects within a terminal, from the moment they enter until they leave.
