RegenPorts is a innovation program created by the Port Authority of Barcelona through the BCN Port Innovation Foundation, designed to lead environmental regeneration projects and respond to the growing regulatory and social demands in terms of sustainability.
The project consists of collecting and transforming plastic waste from the Port of Barcelona to promote the circular economy. The waste will be collected, cleaned and pelletised to create by-products that can be reintroduced, as a priority, into the consumption cycle of the Port.
